Q. Tell us about a mentor who inspired you.
A. When I first joined the ranks of volunteer leadership as a council vice president, Dick Chase, CPP, PCI, PSP, was a board member who modeled the way for me and others to emulate. He is a true servant leader with his words and actions.
Q. What was your favorite ASIS moment?
A. Without a doubt, meeting former U.S. President George W. Bush.
Q. What is the best advice you've gotten regarding your career?
A. Find a mentor! A mentor is someone whose hindsight can become your foresight. Be a good listener. I strive to live by the words: “Listen to advice and accept instruction, and in the end you will be wise.”
Q. What book has inspired you?
A. Fearless. It’s the story of U.S. Navy Seal Operator Adam Brown who was killed in action. This book inspired me beyond measure.
Q. Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us.
A. I have an identical twin brother. Many times, he has been mistaken in airports as me by ASIS members. Check the picture, is it really me?
