Certification Preparation

Certification Review Courses – In-person, high-level review classes covering each of a certification’s domains are led by experienced certified professionals. Identify areas for further study and benefit from practice quizzes, test-taking tips, and more.

Flash Cards – A useful addition to your study materials, Flash Cards are a simple, yet comprehensive tool to help you identify key terms, understand critical concepts, and recall facts. All cards include referenced answers. Available in print or digital.

Online Review Courses – ASIS Online Review courses are comprehensive study tools designed to help you master key content areas covered on the exam. The review material, organized around the Domains and Tasks, dives deep into each area to review the most relevant content and the self-paced format gives you the flexibility to study at your own pace and according to your own schedule.

Reference Materials – Because every item in the certification exams must be referenced back to the ASIS reference materials for validation, we encourage all candidates to refer to these publications as they are preparing for their exams.

Virtual Study Groups – ASIS Virtual Study Groups provide the tools and support you need to learn how as well as what to study. Participants complete course requirements in advance of weekly, one-hour, facilitated live sessions that give a high-level overview of the material covered. Courses run three times a year and last 6-8 weeks.

Practice Tests - Intended to provide individuals with a sample of the type of questions that will be asked on certification exams. Practice tests help you study information and concepts that are likely to be tested.

eLearning Collections

ASIS eLearning Collections compile curated content addressing specific topics of interest to security management professionals. A convenient way to hone your knowledge and skills—and earn CPEs toward recertification.

Concise, yet highly informative and knowledge building, these multi-modal (video and written) learning offerings are easy to digest and easily accessible 24/7. Approach one module at a time or dive right in and complete a whole collection.

Certificate Courses

Enroll in an ASIS Certificate Course

Demonstrate your proficiency in core areas of security by taking an ASIS certificate course. By narrowly focusing on a topic, these programs help newcomers and experienced professionals alike build competencies. Unlike ASIS certifications such as the APP, CPP, PSP and PCI—which require rigorous study and recertification to stay current—ASIS certificate courses consist of a learning portion followed by a test based on information in the course. No previous knowledge of the topic is required, and at the end of the course participants will earn CPE credits.
