How Can I Get Involved?

ASIS is a vibrant professional organization where getting involved will help you get the most out of your membership.

We offer many different opportunities to engage as a member. Whether you are new to the industry or have been a security management professional for decades, we have opportunities for you.

Build Your Network Through ASIS Connects

Take the first step in expanding your network by completing your profile and joining the conversation. Ask a question, learn about the latest trends and techniques, download resources, and network with ASIS members and security professionals from around the globe.

Scholarship, Grant, and Award Opportunities

The ASIS Foundation offers scholarships and grants which support our Chapters and help individuals achieve their career goals in the security profession.

Our first round of 2018 program is now closed, and recipients will be announced soon. Please check back in the coming weeks for information on additional opportunities.

Other Awards

ASIS presents awards to raise awareness of the outstanding work being done in the security management field. Through our chapter and certification awards, we recognize the creative programs, projects and initiatives taking place at the local level.

Professional Certification Board

Members of the Professional Certification Board (PCB) manage the certification programs by assuring that standards are developed and maintained, quality assurance is in place and that the exams accurately reflects the duties and responsibilities of security professionals in the areas of security management, investigations, and physical security. The board meets three times per year.

This year's PCB reflects our global membership with members of the 16-person board serving from North and South America, Europe, and Asia.
