Now in its 62nd year, the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits continues to provide the best opportunity for security management professionals worldwide to learn from experts in our field, share insights and best practices with peers, strengthen their professional networks, and gain hands-on access to leading edge security technology products and services.
Here are some of the most significant changes - and additions - to the program
Opening Ceremony to focus on the State of Security. Led by ASIS President David C. Davis, CPP, and ASIS International CEO Peter J. O'Neil, CAE, attendees will hear insights on professional trends, technological developments, and skill sets required to prosper in the current and future environment. The discussion will range across business, management, technology, strategic, and human capital issues.
InfraGard to colocate Annual Conference at ASIS 2016. The InfraGard National Members Alliance (INMA) will be colocating its 20th Anniversary Congress and Conference with ASIS 2016 and the (ISC)2 Security Congress. In addition, an InfraGard session track will be integrated into the education program.
Lunch on Wednesday to be held in the Exhibit Hall in lieu of the traditional seated luncheon. Registrants with an All Access Pass or Wednesday’s One Day Pass will be given vouchers to use for food and beverage at the concession eateries. All other attendees and exhibitors will still be able to purchase food at the concessions.
ASIS 2016 to host first U.S. Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs). Come celebrate outstanding performance by companies and individuals across the security sector, at the Sept 14 The OSPAs at Foundation Night. Tickets are $125. We’re pleased to host this important event, which is also supported by BOMA International, IAPSC, IAHSS, NASCO, PSA Network, and RIMS.

Systems Integrator Series to be moved to the exhibit floor and is part of the free Show+ Pass registration.
Six of the “Best of” 2015 education sessions will be presented on the floor, including
- Countermeasures for Unmanned Systems and Emerging Threats
- Securing Soft Targets
- Trends in Training Security Officers
- Preparing and Responding to Active Shooters
All attendees can get a free professional headshot taken at the Headshot Lounge located next to the ASIS Career Center. Professional photographers equipped with lighting and makeup artists will be available.
ASIS Young Professionals Council to manage onsite Career Center. The 2.5 days of panel sessions and professional development programming will address issues relevant to security professionals at all stages of their career. Located on the exhibit floor, the Career Center will continue to offer free career coaching and resume reviews to all attendees.
