That’s why eligibility requirements for the Associate Protection Professional (APP®️) credential have been modified to better reflect the real-world experience of today’s incoming and transitioning security professionals. Apply to earn your APP Certification with just one year of compensated security experience—no college degree or management experience required.

Selbourne Webb, CPP, PCI, PSP, served in the military for more than 27 years before retiring to work in safety and security training. Webb sought ASIS certification to help validate his industry knowledge and to continue to stay knowledgeable on best practices.
