Carolina Pines is Newest Chapter for World’s Leading Security Association

Alexandria, VA (March 14, 2019)ASIS International, the world’s largest association of security management professionals, today announced the formation of its newest chapter, Carolina Pines, which will serve members in the Southern Pines area of North Carolina.

ASIS International chapters support security professionals and communities around the world by providing a forum for local security leaders to meet with colleagues and peers for professional development and networking. The security community gathers to discuss the latest threats and strategies for mitigating risks both in-person and using ASIS International’s proprietary online community.

The first new chapter announced in 2019, Carolina Pines was formed under the leadership of inaugural chapter chair Raymond Whitaker, senior director of corporate security, GRA Maven.

“Security professionals in the Southern Pines area drove up to an hour to attend ASIS chapter meetings with the Greater Fayetteville chapter,” says Whitaker. “The Carolina Pines chapter will ease that burden on security professionals in the Southern Pines area as they strive to help keep their community safe.”

Other chapters in North Carolina include the NC Research Triangle chapter, Greater Fayetteville chapter, North Carolina Piedmont chapter, Greater Charlotte chapter, NC Azalea Coast chapter, and Western North Carolina chapter.
