Call for Presentations Opens for the ASIS 2013 and the Colocated Third Annual (ISC)2 Security Congress

​ASIS International, the leading organization for security professionals worldwide, and (ISC)2, the largest not-for-profit membership body of certified information security professionals worldwide, opened its joint Call for Presentations for the 59th Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2013) and the colocated third annual (ISC)2 Security Congress. The events will take place Sept. 24-27, 2013 (Tues.-Fri.) at McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill. Subject matter experts from around the globe are invited to submit proposals to present 60-75 minute educational sessions on timely security solutions and up-to-date intelligence for the traditional or information security practitioner. Detailed information and proposal guidelines are available online. The deadline to submit is Feb. 11, 2013.

ASIS 2013, the world’s most comprehensive education and networking event in the security industry, and (ISC)2 Security Congress 2013 will bring together more than 20,000 security professionals from multiple disciplines to learn, exchange ideas, network, and pursue credentials and other career development opportunities. The expansive event creates a unique networking opportunity for traditional and information security professionals from around the world from both the private and public sectors. The event features more than 200 educational sessions, numerous special events, and an exhibits floor showcasing more than 700 product and service providers. It also provides a single forum for the peer-to-peer exchange of smart, strategic solutions for all aspects of security.
