CONFERENCE VENUE

The venue for all educational sessions, exhibit, lunches, and coffee breaks will be the InterContinental Dubai Festival City Events Center (Dubai Festival City, Dubai 45777, United Arab Emirates, +971-4-7011111) To reach the InterContinental Dubai Festival City from the Dubai International Airport, the easiest and quickest way is to take the taxi. The hotel is within short ride (15-30 min) from the airport depending on the traffic. For fares please visit the Roads & Transport Authority website.

REGISTRATION DESK OPENING HOURS

On Sunday, 16 February, the registration desk will be open at the Foyer on the ground level of the Events Center strictly from 12:00 to 17:30 On Monday and Tuesday, the registration desk will be open from 08:00 throughout the normal conference hours.

You are required to pick up your badge at the registration desk before entering the conference.

CERTIFICATES OF ATTENDANCE

Please note that certificates of attendance will only be handed to delegates who have attended over 70% of the sessions (4 full presentations per day or 8 TST sessions). At the entrance of each session, your badge will be scanned in order to register your participation. Certificates will not be handed out on-site but will be emailed shortly after the conference to the email address that was provided by you on registration.

Please make sure to scan your badge at the entrance of the meeting rooms.

No certificate is remitted to exhibits-only visitors.

CONFERENCE MATERIALS

ASIS Middle East Security Conference and Exhibition is introducing an innovative way for you to collect information through your personalised badge.

All conference information: programme, speakers’ information, presentation slides, sponsors and exhibitors profiles can be downloaded and sent to you directly via the Media Kiosks. Swipe your badge to have the access to this information. Media Kiosks are located in Al Ras 1.

OFFICIAL OPENING

H.H. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Minister of Economy, will officially open the exhibition on Monday 17 February at 8:30, followed by the opening plenary session which starts at 9:00. Please be early to avoid the crowds or pick up your badge and material. Alternatively you can pick up you badge and materials on Sunday.

LUNCHES AND COFFEE BREAKS

Welcome, morning and afternoon coffee breaks are served every day in the exhibition area (Al Ras Foyer and Al Ras 1). Lunch is provided on Monday 17 February and Tuesday 18 February in the Al Baraha on the -1 level. Signs and staff will show the way.

WELCOME DRINK - SPONSORED BY G4S

Sunday, 16 February from 18:00 – 19:30 in the exhibition area of the InterContinental Dubai Festival City Events Center. Open to all delegates, sponsors and exhibitors.

 

PRESIDENT'S RECEPTION - SPONSORED BY SAUDI ARAMCO

Monday, 17 February from 18:30 – 20:00 at the Al Badia Golf Club. Meeting Point is the lobby of the InterContinental Dubai Festival City Events Center at 18:15. Transportation is provided.

Badges are required to enter the venue!

 

PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP SUNDAY 16 FEBRUARY

Access to this workshop is limited to conference delegate. Pre-registration for this workshop is required due to limited seating. If you have not pre-registered for this workshop, we cannot guarantee that you will have a seat.

SOCIAL TOURS

This year ASIS is collaborating with Rayna Tours to ensure that participants have a variety of tours available to explore the area. The selection of the tours includes an Abu Dhabi City tour, a tour to the Burj Khalifa, a helicopter tour of Dubai, deep sea cruising and fishing, hot air balloon and many more.

If you have not booked your tour in advance, look for the Rayna Tours reception desk on site to choose and reserve your tour. ASIS Middle East 2013 participants receive 10% discount on any standard tour fees.

REGISTRATION FEE

We require that registration fee payment is processed in advance to the conference. In case payment is not received by Friday 14 February, we will ask you for onsite payment at the registration desk before allowing you in the conference and exhibition area.
