Wayne Tufek is currently the IT Security and Risk Manager at the University of Melbourne. His career spans over 17 years as an active hands on practitioner of information security and technology risk management. He has successfully designed, led, implemented and managed information security, risk management, IT governance and business continuity programmes within large and complex organisations across a variety of industries. He has worked in the public sector, Big 4, financial services, consumer products and education sectors. Wayne is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and holds the SABSA SCF, CISSP and CISA qualifications. He has presented at security conferences and events in Australia and internationally.
