ASIS News: GSX Keynotes, Fitness Challenge, and New Research
GSX 2025 Keynotes Announced
ASIS International is excited to announce three excellent keynote speakers for Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2025. Each day of the conference will feature one keynote speaker discussing the latest issues facing the industry.
Monday’s keynote session, sponsored by Axon Enterprise, is titled “The New Abnormal: Who are the Winners and Losers in a G-Zero World?” Ian Bremmer, president of Eurasia Group and a global politics and markets expert, will discuss the ongoing period of heightened geopolitical and market volatility we are living in. He will overview the current global situation, its causes, and how we will continue to feel the effects.
In Tuesday's general session, sponsored by Allied Universal, best-selling author about artificial intelligence (AI) and former Amazon and Fortune 100 C-suite executive Sol Rashidi will discuss the transformational potential of AI within security leadership and organizational strategy. In her session “The AI-Powered Security Paradigm,” Rashidi will focus on AI integration and how security professionals can leverage the opportunities artificial intelligence creates to drive innovation and advance their careers.
General Paul M. Nakasone, former commander of U.S. Cyber Command and former director of the National Security Agency, will keynote on Wednesday. In his session “Lasting Leadership Lessons from the World’s Second Oldest Profession,” Nakasone will discuss real-life leadership lessons learned during his own career and how corporate leaders can leverage this knowledge as they work to align their teams and lead them to success.

New Research: Operational Resilience
In today’s security environment, organizations face an unprecedented convergence of threats—from sophisticated cyberattacks and supply chain disruptions to climate events and geopolitical instability. Operational resilience can help ensure the continuity of essential services in the face of disruption.
This new research report from the ASIS Foundation is a deep dive into the emerging practice of operational resilience: why it is different than, but complementary to, business continuity management and emergency management; where it fits in a holistic organizational resilience process; and, importantly, the central role the security function can play in this mission critical practice.
This report is free to all ASIS members. Read the full report to learn more.
