Present at ASIS Europe

Are you a subject matter expert on the relationship between security and business impacts; ROI of investments in security programs; key trends in physical, human, and cybersecurity; or other security and risk topics? Apply to present at ASIS Europe!

Speakers can either apply to present in a 45-minute case-study clinic or game changer session, or a 90-minute interactive workshop/debate.

  • Case-study clinics should focus on lessons learned from security or crisis incidents or on lessons learned from the launch of a new security readiness or resilience initiative.
  • Game changers will discuss the new risks, trends, or methodologies that will have significant impact in the next one to three years.
  • Cross-functional collaboration workshops or debates are designed for collaborative learning about a challenge that requires security leaders to work with non-security colleagues when there are competing priorities.
  • Addressing complex risks or challenges workshops or debates will involve collaborative learning about a complex risk or ongoing challenge security leaders are facing, where they can learn from crowdsourced insights.

The call for content is currently open for ASIS Europe and will close on 6 November. Submit your abstract today!

Transitioning from the Military to Private Security

If you or someone you know has served in the United States military and is now looking to transition into the security sector, take a look at our new military to civilian transition tool. This tool was developed in conjunction with current ASIS members who are veterans of the U.S. military. It is designed to help veterans see how their Army position and rank, training, and education align with different civilian security roles.

Currently, there are career maps for commissioned officers, warrant officers, and non-commissioned officers in the U.S. Army, but ASIS is working on developing additional career maps for the U.S. Navy and Air Force, and eventually non-U.S. militaries as well.
