Industry News: Virtual Perimeter Solution Increases Late-Night Security at White Castle
Decreasing Vandalism and Crime for Late-Night Shifts
Fast-food hamburger chain White Castle has piloted an artificial intelligence (AI) powered exterior solution at one of its high-risk locations in St. Louis, Missouri. The Interface solution, Virtual Perimeter Guard, delivered measurable reductions in loitering, late-night incidents, and security escalations, all while improving safety for employees and customers.
During the first 30 days of the solution’s deployment, 91 percent of perimeter security issues were resolved with the use of AI detection and live voice deterrence. The system combines detection with escalating voice-downs, powerful strobe lighting, and live security professionals who can intervene in real time.
White Castle also reported a boost in employee morale that came with the stronger sense of workplace safety, plus increased customer comfort while waiting in late-night drive-thru lines.
