Speaking of the years to come... we’re kicking off 2025 right with Leadership Exchange!
Leadership Exchange 2025 will take place virtually on 28-30 January 2025. The three-day event will feature 90-minute sessions each day, designed to help ASIS volunteers grow as leaders, connect with peers, and learn more about the ASIS support network. Each daily session will be hosted from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET.
Tuesday 28 January: Kick off Leadership Exchange with an ASIS Town Hall with updates from ASIS Global and Regional Boards, Professional Certification Board, Professional Standards Board, CSO Center Board, and ASIS Foundation Board of Trustees. Learn about 2025 initiatives and how your board or committee can contribute.
Wednesday 29 January: Led by Peggy Hoffman, FASAE, CAE, this session will help you understand today's best practices in volunteer engagement as a leader. Hoffman will share successful techniques for engaging, motivating, and empowering your board or committee. She will also share tools that are available to help!
Thursday 30 January: Apply what you've learned from Peggy Hoffman and attend “quick hit” sessions led by volunteers who are sharing techniques and tools that have worked in engaging volunteers and members.

Present at GSX
Applications to present at GSX are now open! Submissions for GSX 2025 proposals are open now and will close on 22 January 2025. GSX 2025 will take place from 29 September to 1 October 2025 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.
The core topics for consideration for next year’s conference are active assailant and workplace violence; cybersecurity; data protection, privacy, and transparency; diversity, equity, and inclusion; digital transformation; ESRM best practices; insider threats; security leadership; security technologies; and soft target protection.
The opportunity to present is open to all ASIS members and global security practitioners. All applications will be reviewed by a selection committee, and accepted speakers will be notified in mid-April 2025. Submit a presentation proposal now!
If you want to be more involved in the selection process, the call for reviewers is also open now, closing 22 January 2025. Any selected reviewers will help evaluate submissions for both digital and in-person content at GSX 2025. Apply to be a reviewer today!
