U.S. OSPA Award Recipients to Be Recognized at GSX
The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) honor and highlight the best companies, individuals, projects, and solutions that significantly contribute to security and its mission.
The OSPAs were created to both measure and honor the successes from the security industry, according to Martin Gill, director of Perpetuity Research and Consultancy International and founder of the awards.
“It’s very difficult to know when you’ve done a good job because if nothing happens, you’ve done a good job,” Gill says of recognition in the security profession.
Prior to the OSPAs, Gill adds that there was no independent global security awards program that was both credible and global. To create one based on being credible, ethical, independent, and transparent, Gill sponsored research into how to measure the successes of the industry and the people and organizations within it.
Now recognizing those successes throughout 15 countries, the recipients of the OSPA awards are selected by a panel of judges nominated by major industry associations.
The winners of this year’s U.S. OSPA awards will be announced at GSX 2022 on 13 September at 4:30 p.m. ET in Hall 5B. The awards reception is open to GSX attendees with an All-Access pass. Individual tickets for the event may be purchased onsite or via MCI.
