ASIS Middle East 2022: Strengthening Regional Resilience
GSX 2022 is not the end of the road for security professional development and networking. In November, Dammam, Saudi Arabia, will host the 10th ASIS Middle East conference to bring together critical asset operators and owners to learn about solutions to keep their organizations secure, sustainable, and resilient.
The event will focus on the theme “Security, Enabling Economic Growth." Attendees will have the opportunity to gain first-hand insights from security professionals sharing their experiences throughout the conference. Home of Saudi Aramco and the industrial cities of Jubail and Ras al Khair, the Eastern Province where ASIS Middle East will take place is the most important industrial region of Saudi Arabia, contributing 60 percent of GDP to the national economy. It is the largest province of the country occupying an area of nearly eight hundred thousand square kilometers, which is 36 percent of the country’s land mass and has common borders with Kuwait in the north, Qatar and Bahrain in the east, and United Arab Emirates and Oman at its south. It has a population of more than 4.1 million, which represents 15 percent of the Kingdom's total population.
