ACCESS CONTROL

As part of a phased project, Glasscock County Independent School District in Texas, United States, incorporated 3xLOGIC, Inc., wireless, keyless access control features into its schools’ facilities to better protect its more than 300 students. In late 2018, the school district kicked off the first phase of the project by outfitting 60 exterior doors with both wireless and wired locks; phase two of the project integrated 70 wireless locks for interior doors, managed by an existing 3xLOGIC infinias access control system. The third phase involved an additional 38 wireless locks, completing the installation with a total of 135 doors managed through the infinias system. Exterior and interior doors are access card-based, and only staff and teachers are issued cards. The system allows the district to maintain multiple user groups with various privilege levels, and certain staff members can manage infinias remotely via a smartphone app.

The acquisition of the security advisory firm will broaden Current’s presence in the United States and give its resilience department access to a global online learning market. 

FARO Technologies, Inc.//HoloBuilder, Inc. 

The $34 million acquisition will enhance FARO’s scanning and image management services for improved construction management, facilities operations and management, and incident planning.

AWARD 

OnLogic was named an OEM Partner of the Year during the Intel Partner Connect 2021 for incorporating Intel CPUs into new fanless computers for enhanced reliability.

CONTRACT  

After a six-week pilot project, EmpiricAI signed a contract with chemicals manufacturer Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited to deploy the WorkSafe Analytics solution for monitoring COVID-19 protocols.

ANNOUNCEMENT
