How Your Executive Skills Can Boost Employee Retention

It’s not always about the money. That might sound like a cliché, but when it comes to employee satisfaction and retention, it’s true.

While an organization may attract talent through the promise of a paycheck and career opportunities, retaining that talent requires more—especially for frontline security roles that have a high turnover rate.

“When leaders start treating frontline talent as the foundation…everything about culture and retention changes,” said Lisa Ross, senior vice president of human resources for IAC, during a November webinar from ASIS International and the International Organization of Black Security Executives (IOBSE). Ross also discussed what behaviors from leadership resonate with staff and make them want to stay.
