Fast Facts: How Polycrisis Affects Mental Health

Feeling like too many major events are affecting you all at once? You—and millions of other people like you—are experiencing a feeling of polycrisis.

Polycrisis describes a state of the works when unconnected crises pile up and create a storm of interwoven stressors, especially for people trying to navigate that complexity. Those stressors can be economic, societal, geopolitical, climate-related, or even security incidents, and the combination of stressors can produce a perfect storm for burnout.
