Industry News: VMS Platform Offers Utah School District Future Flexibility
SCHOOL SURVEILLANCE
Utah’s Granite School District—one of the largest in the United States, with roughly 60,000 students and 7,500 staff—selected the CompleteView Video Management Platform from Salient Systems. The platform was deployed in more than 130 schools, administrative offices, and other district facilities to help the school district manage its security and surveillance operations. The platform connects more than 5,000 cameras across the facilities, providing the district’s security practitioners with an organization-wide view of its security operations. The platform will allow the district to use a variety of camera vendors, analytics providers, and other third-party elements that it may want to implement in the future.
