Industry News: Restaurant Group Turns to Remote SOCs to Monitor Security Videos

RESTAURANT EMPLOYEE SAFETY

WKS Restaurant Group is deploying Interface Systems’ virtual guard interactive remote video monitoring solutions across all its restaurant brands—including Blaze Pizza, Denny’s, El Pollo Loco, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, and Wendy’s. The monitoring services offer improved security for employees and customers by upgrading or integrating with existing security coverage, such as Interface’s video verified alarm services. The latest solutions include security cameras, network video recorders, speakers, microphones, and panic buttons. Remote intervention specialists assess situations in real time from a command center and can interact with employees through an interactive audio system. Control center personnel can also provide a safety check of the premises before employees open or close a facility.
