ACCESS CONTROL
The Flemish government selected Nedap’s AEOS access control solution for securing its sites throughout multiple European countries, including Belgium. The six-year framework contract, which began in September 2020, includes a partnership between Nedap and G4S. G4S is tasked with replacing the technology for more than 4,000 doors with the AEOS system, which can accommodate up to 50 software users.
The system will also feature several integrations—including automatic number plate recognition, mobile readers, QR code readers, and visitor management—as part of a larger government effort to streamline its systems and processes. The open system allows the client to select which technology it integrates and which installers it works with.
