Hanwha Techwin America announced the launch of its new high definition Wisenet X PTZ PLUS cameras. The new cameras feature artificial intelligence-based object tracking; precise pan, tilt, and zoom control; improved pre-set accuracy; adaptive infrared illumination; and enhanced cybersecurity. Designed for perimeter protection and large, open area applications, such as airports, parking lots, industrial estates, stadiums, and city centers, the new cameras can capture forensic-level image quality at a distance of up to 650 feet. With adaptive IR technology that adjusts the power of the camera’s IR LEDs, this new line can match the level of zoom regardless of the surrounding lighting conditions.

Video Access Control

Aiphone added the IX-EA IP video door station intercom to its robust IX Series portfolio. The IX-EA is a surface-mounted, weather-resistant IP video door station equipped with a 1.23-megapixel fixed color camera that can be programmed to call up to 20 different stations with three different call level selections. Also, video from the IX-EA can be streamed to third-party devices using ONVIF Profile S or RTSP. Other features include SIP 2.0 compliancy, white LED for low-light illumination, 802.3af PoE compliant, and 600-ohm audio output for paging or communication.

Video Mount Products announced its two new low-profile vertical wall cabinets. These enclosures were designed to securely mount EIA standard rack equipment in an out-of-the-way place, such as a back office, closet, retail location, or anywhere that has limited floor space. The ERVWC-5U20 and ERVWC-6U36 both have 150-pound weight capacities, and both models have low profiles as a result of their vertical mounting configuration and feature cable management punch outs, ventilation, and a dedicated location for mounting of a patch panel, with reversible mounting rails.

RS-SAM100.pngMicrowave Amplifier

Rohde & Schwarz announced the introduction of a new system amplifier. The R&S SAM100, a microwave amplifier, sets new standards in ease of operation and compact footprint within the 2-20 GHz range with up to 20W output power. The amplifier targets manufacturers of passive and active microwave components and microwave devices for mobile radio (UMTS, LTE, 4G, and 5G), IoT (WLAN, Bluetooth), satellite, and radar applications. The SAM100 represents an ultra-broadband amplifier for a variety of test setups and system configurations. Featuring high gain with low noise at superior linearity makes the unit applicable to AM, FM, PM, and OFDM applications.

Dormakaba’s Crane Motion Assist eases manual revolving door use for pedestrians of all abilities. The Crane Motion Assist stays in motion as long as the pedestrian keeps moving. These doors also feature a larger, more robust drive box; ensure safe and compliant speed control during loss of power from its backup manual gearbox; and reduces germ transmission with nearly touchless operation. Along with improving accessibility, the doors deliver torque on demand with a computer-controlled, brushless drive system.
