RACING CIRCUIT VIDEO SOLUTION

The Hockenheimring in Germany features a motor racing circuit of approximately five kilometers (roughly three miles) in length and can hold 120,000 fans in its stands. With more than 700,000 visitors streaming into the site for both motorsport and running events every year, the Hockenheimring uses a Bosch video security system to investigate criminal incidents. More than 64 IP cameras monitor entrances and exits, stands, the motorsport museum, other public areas, and the racing circuit. The high-resolution cameras are networked through a central video management system, which police can access live and via mobile devices. The system is also linked to the museum’s fire alarm and intrusion detection systems and is sometimes used to document long-term construction projects.
