ABLOY announced a new locking solution that includes a digital key, a mobile app, and an IP68-rated, weatherproof Bluetooth padlock. The ABLOY BEAT solution aims to boost operational efficiency while securing critical infrastructure, commercial institutions, and industry sites. All three components are managed with the ABLOY OS user interface. Along with securing property, the solution also offers users improved operational efficiency, reducing both logistics and costs. The solution is intended to be used in sectors like telecom and data centers, transportation and logistics, utilities, and mining.

AMAG Technology integrated its Symmetry Access Control software V9.1 with Telaeris’ XPressEntry handheld badge verification and emergency mustering solution. The integration delivers a mobile access control solution for badge holders in the event of an emergency, giving safety and security personnel a verification solution that can maintain updated facility occupancy information and rapidly verify personnel and visitor badge information, including name, photo identification, and permissions.

Finding and managing video feeds is made faster and easier with dormakaba’s Keyscan Aurora, integrated with OpenEye Web Services (OWS). The module allows users to quickly retrieve, view, and manage video through the cloud by using OWS and its app. Other advantages of the integrated interface include efficient connectivity to recorders, improved connection reliability, elimination of manual entry and connection setting updates, and retrieval of immediate live or recorded video verification of alarms or events.

Digital Matter announced that Verizon certified its battery powered GPS asset tracking devices. With the LTE-M certification, the Oyster2 and Yabby 4G devices can operate on the carrier’s wireless data network. The trackers can be used for trailers, containers, bins, bikes, and more. They feature a battery life of up to seven years, waterproof IP67-rated housing, compact and concealable design, and GPS/FLONASS and LTE-M (Cat-M1) communication.
