Airport Early Warning Detection
Horton Automatics offers its Early Warning Detection (EWD) system, which enhances security at the exit between the sterile zone to the unsecured area of an airport, reducing the need to man secured areas. PlateSmart partnered with IP video specialist ViSTA Networking Solutions to make ARES license plate recognition (LPR) solutions available on ViSTA’s new reader appliance. The V7300 LPR appliance is formatted specifically for LPR operations at the network edge, containing computing, network connectivity, remote maintenance capability, PoE for cameras, and preinstalled PlateSmart ARES LPR software.
