A new simulator from Elbit Systems is providing a solution for joint training of military and emergency responders in advance of crisis situations for the Israeli Ministry of Defense. The newest version of the Elbit Incident Command Team Training System (ICTTS) allows the integration of military and other organizations into a joint-control tactical training arena. 

The ground-based training system simulates a wide range of realistic scenarios for emergency response training. Operated through multiple trainee stations, it can train hundreds of security responders simultaneously. Participants can assume different roles in the event management process, depending on their areas of responsibility. The ICTTS updates a previous version of the system that was being used by the Israel Defense Force’s Home Front Command.
