New ASIS Research Explores Security Culture and Controls

Every year, the ASIS Foundation produces academically rigorous research designed to advance the knowledge and strategic decision making of security leaders. This year’s ASIS Foundation Report, Security Culture: A Strategic Capability That Builds Resilience in a Volatile World, details how even the best-designed security governance structures, controls, and technologies cannot deliver secure outcomes at scale on their own.
Security is ultimately enacted through the everyday actions, decisions, and behaviors of employees, contractors, and partners. The report provides a clear understanding of how to develop and sustain a healthy security culture, how to make security culture work in organizations, and how to share the value of security culture with senior leaders and boards in meaningful ways.
