​Physical access control and long-range readers for automatic vehicle identification, supplied by Nedap N.V., were incorporated into the new AZ Zeno medical care center in Knokke-Heist, Belgium. The hospital, which opened in April 2018, includes a rehabilitation center, outpatient clinic, auditoriums, public event space, and heliport. The solutions provided by Nedap include physical access control and a staff locker management system. The TRANSIT long-range readers allow emergency vehicles swift access to hospital premises.
