10:10am:�?Joint�Base Andrews is currently on lockdown following reports of an active shooter.�

The base's official Twitter page posted a tweet at approximately 9:10am local time saying personnel were sheltering in place after reports of an active shooter. About 15 minutes later, it tweeted?�the incident was ongoing at its Malcolm Grow Medical Facility, and that first responders were on the scene. A?ll personnel remain sheltered in place.�

"The base was scheduled to conduct an active shooter exercise, however, reports of a real-world active shooter situation were reported at Malcolm Grow medical facility,� the base said in a statement.�

Joint Base Andrews, located in Prince George's County, MD,�is home to Air Force One.�
