One-third of IT professionals believe that a major data breach could put their company out of business. The findings come from aglobal survey, conducted for McAfee by Datamonitor, of 1,400 IT professionals at companies with at least 250 employees. Another finding: 60 percent of respondents said they had experienced a data breach in the past year. Still, respondents said they spend just one-half of one percent of their overall IT budgets on data security.
