The question was recently asked by the World Health Organization to determine the extent to which youth violence is a normal aspect of human development and the extent to which it is influenced by culture. As to how often they got into scrapes with other adolescents, the teenagers from the United States, Ireland, Israel, Portugal, and Sweden had basically the same rates.
