Eddie Sorrells, CPP, PCI, PSP, is the 71st president of ASIS International.
Sorrells has over 30 years of security experience and is a frequent speaker on topics such as workplace violence, physical secuirty, employment law, workplace investigations, and other security and business topics. His work has been published in respected outlets such as Security Management Magazine and featured in national media including The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post. In 2015, Eddie authored Security Litigation: Best Practices for Managing and Preventing Security-Related Lawsuits, a practical resource for navigating the legal complexities of the security profession. He is currently the CEO of DSI Security Services.
Sorrells holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University and a Juris Doctor from the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama.
