This standard specifies requirements and framework for establishing, implementing, operating, evaluating, and continually improving an organizational intelligence program that supports informed business decision-making. It applies to organizations of all types and sizes and addresses the planning, direction, collection, analysis, dissemination, and evaluation of intelligence across strategic, operational, and tactical levels. The standard focuses on intelligence used to identify risks, opportunities, trends, and emerging issues that may affect organizational objectives, performance, and resilience.

PROJECT STATUS:
A kickoff meeting was held Thursday, 21 May 2026. The Technical Committee review of the initial document began 29 July 2026 and will conclude 11 September 2026. Private Security Officer Selection and Training (revision)
This standard provides minimum criteria for the selection and training of private security officers; it is applicable to both proprietary and contract security. It provides a basis for an organization to develop or demonstrate that its private security officer selection and training policies, practices, procedures, and program are consistent with applicable legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations in the jurisdiction where the organization is domiciled and where the security services will be performed.

The Technical Committee has been seated, and draft preparation is underway. The group held a kickoff meeting on 28 July 2026, and the Technical Committee review of the document began 11 August 2026 and will conclude 18 September 2026. Security and Resilience in Organizations and their Supply Chains - Requirements with Guidance (revision)
This standard specifies requirements for an integrated management system for organizations and their supply chains. The organizational resilience management system (ORMS) enables an organization to identify, assess, and manage risks related to the achievement of its strategic, operational, tactical, and reputational objectives in the organization and its supply chains. It provides a holistic framework to develop and implement policies, objectives, and programs taking into account:
- Context of the organization and its supply chains;
- Legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations and voluntary commitments;
- Needs of internal and external stakeholders;
- Uncertainties in achieving its objectives; and
- Protection of human, tangible and intangible assets.

Workplace Violence and Active Assailant - Prevention, Intervention, and Response (revision)
This standard provides requirements and guidance for the development and implementation of a workplace violence prevention and intervention program. It provides an overview of policies, processes, and protocols that organizations can adopt to help identify, assess, respond to, and mitigate threatening or intimidating behavior and violence affecting the workplace. It also addresses personnel within organizations who typically become involved in prevention and intervention efforts. In addition, the standard includes an annex which provides actionable information and guidance relative to prevention, intervention and response to incidents involving an active assailant/active shooter.
PROJECT STATUS:
