The work of preparing standards and guidelines is carried out through the ASIS Standards and Guidelines Committees and governed by the Commission on Standards and Guidelines. The Commission ensures the development process is voluntary, nonproprietary, and consensus-based, utilizing the knowledge, experience, and expertise of ASIS membership, security professionals, and the global security profession.
Call for Participation!
Applications are being accepted through November 24, 2017, for the 2018 Commission on Standards and Guidelines. If you wish to be considered for membership, please complete the application form and submit to: firstname.lastname@example.org, by Friday, November 24th. Please be sure to include a copy of your CV.
NOTE: Commission members are expected to attend meetings (conducted both in-person or virtually). The 2018 meeting schedule is as follows:
- January (in conjunction with the 2018 Leadership Conference in Arlington, VA.-- Commission will meet on January 16th &18th) - in-person meeting
- June (date TBD) - virtual meeting
- September (in conjunction with Seminar in Las Vegas, NV., date TBD) - in-person meeting
