It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our colleague, friend, and ASIS International member, Anthony Roman.
Anthony was a dedicated and respected member of ASIS International’s Healthcare Security Community Steering Committee who worked tirelessly to advance healthcare security. Even in his final days, he remained actively engaged — organizing and leading our most recent webinar on "The Power of Hello," based on the work of Michael W. Dunning’s (The Hello Doctrine), a message Anthony was deeply passionate about. His commitment to fostering safer, more connected environments was evident in everything he did. He served as an ASIS International member since 2002. A proud Marine, devoted family man, and tireless community servant, Anthony built his life on an unshakeable foundation of duty, mentorship, and helping others, touching countless lives through his infectious positivity and unwavering commitment to protecting and uplifting others.
