The ASIS HQ staff is grieving the unexpected loss of our colleague, Mariah Bartz. Mariah joined ASIS in 2017 as a Graphic Designer and, through her exceptional talent, dedication, and collaborative spirit, rose steadily within the organization. She was promoted to Senior Graphic Designer in 2021, transitioned to Senior Digital Designer in 2022, and, in July 2024, became our Manager of Digital Design.
While many ASIS members may not have known Mariah personally, you have undoubtedly seen her influence. Her creative vision is woven into so much of what defines ASIS—from GSX designs and Foundation collateral to annual reports, Security Management magazine, and the new ASIS website. Her work has shaped our community’s experience in countless meaningful ways.
Mariah leaves behind an enduring imprint on ASIS and on the many colleagues who had the privilege of working alongside her. She will be deeply missed.
