About the webinar
This webinar addresses the important topic of healthcare reform and its impact on contract security services companies. Since the passage of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), many security professionals have struggled with the various requirements and resulting burdens that have been, and will be, imposed by this law. While the law does not specifically target our industry, its impact is unique in many respects. The most severe impact will be felt by contract security services companies in preparing for and implementing a cost-effective solution to the Employer Mandate (“Shared Responsibility” requirement) that goes into effect on January 1, 2015. While each company must consider a multitude of specific internal factors that will vary by size, demographics, and management philosophy of each organization, this webinar explores how the requirements to provide employee healthcare benefits will be felt universally in the industry, and what steps can be taken to prepare.
