Toby Heath, CPP, PSP, CPTED, CHS-IV has nearly 15 years of experience in the security industry ranging from his real-world missions with the United States Army to designing all levels of security systems as a security engineer. His current role of Electromechanical Specialist (ASSA ABLOY) puts him up front and center with his customers in mitigating security risks. His previous role as security division leader allowed him to oversee a team that capable of performing a multitude of security functions. These included vulnerability/risk assessments, security system design (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, etc.) as well as construction management/inspection of security installs.
Mike Amaro, PSP CPTED, CHS-IV works as a security project engineer in C&S’s Life Safety Services Department. He has more than 10 years of training, education and experience in the field of electronics and electrical design. Mike is the lead of C & S Engineers security practice and has managed and worked on several successful design and assessment projects. His main responsibilities include conducting RVT assessments at numerous facility types, security design and specifications, and managing the projects through to completion not only during design, but also in construction. Mike is currently chapter chair of the local ASIS Syracuse New York Chapter and is a ASIS board certified Physical Security Professional.
Michael LaMontagne, RA, LEED AP leads the architecture practice within the C & S Engineers industrial and airport facilities department and provides project management, design, and construction administration throughout C & S. He has more than 15 years of professional experience and has worked on a variety of project types, including airport facilities, laboratories, municipal buildings, higher education and K-12 schools, vehicle maintenance, religious, and industrial projects. As a project manager, Mike’s focus is on helping clients realize their goals while balancing aesthetics, sustainability, functionality, and cost effectiveness. His goal is to not only make a difference in the physically-built environment, but also in the community through engagement and serving others.
