Bio: Mr Oplinger is responsible for the design and project management of multiple facility government, detention and courthouse facilities throughout the United States. Systems included full integration of CCTV, intercom, access control, fire alarm, and intrusion detection. He has been involved in the role of project executive for multi-tenant Government projects across the Southeastern United States. Mr Oplinger is involved with deciphering government specifications and deploying practical solutions. Bio: Rueben is a Co-Owner and serves as Vice-President and FSO of Security Install Solutions, Inc. (SIS), a security systems design and integration firm located in Denver, Colorado. Rueben has over 21 years of experience in the electronic security industry and is board certified in security management through ASIS International as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). Bio: I am a current member of the New York City Chapter ASIS as well as ASIS International Physical Security Council Education subcommittee. I also am a member of the New York Chapter DHI where I served as President from 2005-2007. I am a member of DHI’s Education Council and I am a Technical School Instructor on both a local and national level. I am a member of the Construction Specifications Institute. I am a building and Life Safety codes expert. I am one of nine certified Architectural Openings Consultants in the world. Professional Experience: 10 years interior construction contractor. 13 years door and hardware supplier until 2005. Consultant with ASSA ABLOY since 2005. First DHI credential (AHC) in the year 2000. Construction Document Technologist (CDT) with CSI in March 2007. Second DHI credential - Certified Door Consultant (CDC) in April 2008. Third DHI credential – Electrified Hardware Consultant (EHC) May 2011. This automatically made me a certified Architectural Openings Consultant (AOC) Certified Fire Door Assembly Inspector (FDAI) September 2008. I have also provided technical assistance to Bicsi for the Third Edition of the “Electronic Safety and Security Design Reference Manual”.

Bio: Mark Schreiber is the President and Principal Consultant for Safeguards Consulting, a security design and consulting firm near Greenville, South Carolina. Mr. Schreiber’s security career has spanned over 15 years in design and consulting roles within the engineering and construction industry. For the majority of this time, he has directly been responsible for the complete design of large enterprise physical security systems from conception to design completion and oversight. Mr. Schreiber has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and also holds multiple training certifications for a variety of systems and equipment from a variety of manufacturers. He has extensive experience in physical security system design and engineering, involving all aspects of physical security systems. Mr. Schreiber previously worked around the globe for Fluor Daniel supporting Fortune 100 clients with the construction and upgrades of their enterprise-plus facilities. Mr. Schreiber has also earned the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Professional Designation (CPD) and has practiced CPTED in many industrial environments. Mr. Schreiber of Safeguards Consulting has earned the Certified Protection Professional (CPP®) certification as certified by ASIS International. In addition to being a presenting member of the Security Architecture and Engineering Council, Mark is the chairman for the ASIS Critical Infrastructure Working Group, and an active member of the IT Security Council.
