ASIS News: Security LeadHER Concludes Its Fourth Annual Conference

Security LeadHER Wrap Up

Security LeadHER, the premier event dedicated to advancing women in the global security industry, welcomed 500 security leaders to the Hilton Minneapolis on 15–16 June 2026, for two days of connection, learning, and community impact. Presented by ASIS International and the Security Industry Association (SIA), this year's event saw a 10 percent increase in attendance over 2025, underscoring its growing momentum and influence.

Attendees participated in exclusive behind-the-scenes tours at Target’s Corporate Command Center and the Mall of America Security Operations and Axis Experience Center, gaining firsthand insights into large-scale security operations and emerging technologies.

The program featured powerful keynotes from organizational psychologist and UNC Chapel Hill professor Alison Fragale, PhD, on navigating status and likability, and author and workplace-equity expert Minda Harts on self-advocacy and communicating value. A closing leadership panel highlighted the impact of sponsorship and allyship in advancing women’s careers.

Breakout sessions spanned executive presence, communication, nonlinear career paths, personal branding, AI-era leadership, psychological safety, and building the next generation of women leaders, reflecting Security LeadHER’s commitment to supporting professionals at every stage of their leadership career.

Save the date for next year’s Security LeadHER event, taking place 14–15 June 2027 in Austin, Texas!
