Infographic: The CSF in Action Around the World

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) was released in 2014. The voluntary framework created a foundation to address cybersecurity risk in critical infrastructure sectors and the U.S. federal government.

Adoption of the framework is not limited to U.S. organizations, though. Ten years after its debut, the CSF is now used by governments and private sector companies around the world to improve cybersecurity.
