Strategic Partnership Between Interface Systems and IPConfigure Results in Remote Video Management Solutions
Interface Systems announced that it has expanded its offerings with interactive remote video monitoring through its partnership with IPConfigure. Interface’s Interactive Security Operations Centers are integrated with IPConfigure’s Orchid VMS, allowing users to run an advanced video monitoring viewer with capabilities like live voice-downs, video verification of alarms, and virtual walkthroughs for remote locations. The VMS component provides users remote monitoring capabilities for any kind of multisite deployment. The integration enables Interface and IPConfigure to jointly target multilocation retail and restaurant businesses that require a thorough security solution with an easy-to-deploy video management solution, plus advanced remote solutions.

BlueHalo//Eqlipse Technologies
BlueHalo and Eqlipse Technologies announced their merger in February. The combined entity, remaining under the name of BlueHalo, will use the technical talent and range of products from Eqlipse to deliver broader services to customers while still developing and producing advanced defense technologies.
HID acquired Zero SSL, an SSL certificate provider based in Austria. This move will increase HID’s ability to provide protected communications between websites.
Cloud services provider Expedient announced its further expansion into the U.S. Midwest with the addition of the former Nationwide data center near Columbus, Ohio. The new site will be the company’s 15th data center in the United States, on top of other recent additions in Arizona, Colorado, and Wisconsin.
Perforce Software acquired enterprise data management software company Delphix. As Delphix’s software enables companies to automate data security measures and other actions, the acquisition will expand Perforce’s testing and infrastructure automation solutions.
Delinea announced the acquisition of the identity-based threats solutions provider, which will expand its portfolio of defense abilities against identity-based attacks, including account takeovers, insider threats, and lateral movement.

Contracts
The National Science Foundation announced its creation of its first-ever Regional Innovation Engines program, which will award 10 teams up to $1.6 billion during the next 10 years. Seven of those teams are focused on advancing artificial intelligence. Each team will initially receive up to $15 million for two years, and those that demonstrate significant progress could receive up to $160 million over the full 10 years.
