ASIS News: Member Appreciation Month, New Research, and Scholarships Open

Success at ASIS Europe

ASIS Europe just closed in Vienna, Austria after three days of engaging programming and networking with security professionals from across the continent. More than 900 security practitioners from 57 countries attended the sold-out ASIS Europe 2024.

“Just as Mozart or Strauss would bring all their instruments together in harmony, at this event we are bringing together the various parts of the security profession to create ‘security in symphony’ and go from risk to resilience,” conference co-chair Inge Huijbrechts, global senior vice president of sustainability, security, and corporate communications, Radisson Hotel Group, said during her opening comments, playing on Vienna’s strong musical tradition.

The event comprised more than 50 educational sessions on the key issues in both physical and cybersecurity, discussing how security leaders can move beyond short-term crisis response to study and address long-term, existential challenges such as extremism along supply chains, globalization, compliance, and climate change.

This year’s conference also featured more than 12 hours of dedicated networking time and an exhibition area with 48 exhibitors showcasing the latest security technology and solutions.

If you want to save your spot for next year, mark your calendar for 4-6 March 2025 for ASIS Europe in Dublin, Ireland.

Wrap on a Great Member Appreciation Month!

As March ends, so does ASIS Member Appreciation Month. But what a great Member Appreciation Month it’s been! With blogs highlighting our members, many great video submissions about what ASIS means to you, and tons of member-exclusive webinars, eBooks, and sales, we were thrilled to get to celebrate so many members in so many different ways.

But don’t worry—the end of Member Appreciation Month doesn’t mean the end of member appreciation! We are honored to celebrate and appreciate our members all year round.
