Conference Speaker Guide

The following resources were developed to support GSX speakers in their event preparation, specifically as it relates to presentations and ensuring the organizing group and presenter are clear on expectations and have the resources available to them to protect against copyright infringement. Additionally, these guidelines include information on avoiding copyright infringement related to presentation imagery.

Resources are encouraged to be adopted or incorporated in current processes.

GSX Speakers Agreement

As a GSX speaker, you have already agreed to these expectations and responsibilities for your presentation. This includes understanding that no compensation will be provided, the handling of session recordings, ensuring content ownership and authorization, and adhering to ethical guidelines. Please continue to ensure compliance and protection against copyright infringement as originally agreed to in your submission and acceptance.

ASIS SPEAKING AGREEMENT:
I understand I will not receive any type of honorarium, compensation, or reimbursement for the preparation or delivery of my session. I also understand that if my session is selected that it will be delivered in-person and in English. Further, I understand I am responsible for notifying ASIS if I choose not to have my session recorded, captured, livestreamed, translated, repurposed, and/or attended by the media. I agree to present an ethical and non-sales/marketing-oriented session that aligns with ASIS International policies. Finally, I am responsible for notifying ASIS immediately ([email protected] AND [email protected]) should I not want media attending my session.

 

COPYRIGHT ASIS SPEAKER AGREEMENT:
I agree to hold harmless and indemnify ASIS for any claims, suits, or damages relating to any copyright infringement based on any of the materials included in my presentation(s) and will assume the cost of any fines and defense should copyright infringement charges be brought based on the content, images, and video provided in my presentation(s).
