CNG Announces 2019 Board of Directors; Chosen from Associations and Private Companies

Alexandria, VA (January 15, 2018)—The Certification Network Group (CNG) has appointed Gayle Rosnick, certification director for ASIS International, to a one-year term as chair of its board of directors.

The CNG is a volunteer-led group of professionals who develop and initiate opportunities for certification professionals in the private and public sectors throughout the Chicago and Washington DC metro areas to learn, network, and share best practices in certification and credentialing. Additionally, the board seeks to plan and provide meaningful gatherings for individuals and organizations interested in these topics. As chair, Rosnick will work with members of the board to develop and execute the CNG’s strategic vision, plan monthly meetings, and further the growth of the CNG’s membership.

“The honor of serving as Certification Network Group chair affirms the excellence certification professionals strive to achieve in our field and that I personally work on every day with the ASIS Certification program,” said Rosnick. “The CNG unites proven experts from the accreditation field to discuss best practices for industry credentialing and I look forward to helping provide new ideas and best practices to our CNG members."

As certification director at ASIS, Rosnick supports the Professional Certification Board in developing and updating ASIS certification programs. This includes the 2019 launch of the Associate Protection Professional (APP) certification, designed to be the first rung on a security management professional’s career ladder.

"Gayle is a long-time participant and supporter of the CNG and has been instrumental in helping the organization to expand its reach within the credentialing community," says Cynthia Allen, president, SeaCrest, and former president of the CNG. "We look forward to working with her this year to continue to grow the organization and provide free educational and networking events to certification professionals."
