Collaboration to showcase member expertise and expanded access to security best practices and innovations

Alexandria, VA—April 3, 2018—ASIS International, the leading association for security management professionals worldwide, today announced that Chuck Harold, Security Guy Radio/TV will livestream interviews of ASIS members and industry thought leaders throughout 2018, expanding content delivered on ASIS TV via the ASIS livestream channel, www.livestream.com/securityguytv/ASIS. In addition, he will broadcast on behalf of ASIS at select industry tradeshows across the United States.

“Chuck has decades of security experience and has built a reputation for helping security professionals across the globe make more informed decisions,” says Ron Rosenbaum, chief global marketing and business development officer, ASIS International. “This partnership is an exciting step forward for ASIS as we diversify how we provide information and resources to the profession. These ASIS TV broadcasts offer expanded access to security best practices, engage new audiences, and ensure industry professionals are able to stay ahead of the security curve.”

In 2018, Harold will broadcast on behalf of ASIS TV from Black Hat USA and will conduct interviews from the ASIS booth at ISC West and IACP Conference. ASIS TV coverage at Global Security Exchange (GSX), the industry’s flagship security event taking place September 23-27 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will include livestreaming from the expo floor, key education sessions, and networking events throughout the week.

“I always look forward to interviewing on Security Guy Radio/TV at the shows where we exhibit,” says Steve Caroselli, CEO/Founder of Orion Entrance Control. “Chuck’s approachability and industry experience result in conversations that help clarify an issue or demystify a product’s technical specs and industry jargon, so listeners can quickly grasp the fundamentals, whether it’s a new concept or service or solution–and see how it relates to their specific situation.”

“This is a terrific opportunity to showcase the depth and breadth of our industry—the career paths, subject matter expertise, as well as the technical and service innovations that help protect our people, property and information assets,” says Harold. “I am excited, honored, and proud to partner with ASIS, and look forward to engaging with the industry in this new capacity.”
