ASIS International is saddened to share the passing of ASIS Louisville chapter member Lael Allen in August 2024.
Lael had been a member of ASIS since 2016, and worked in datacenter and critical facilities management in Kentucky.
Lael was a U.S. Navy veteran. He enlisted in 1993 and served in submarine navigation aboard the USS Alaska. Following his service in the Navy, Lael became a union-trained commercial electrician, which led to his work in datacenter management and electronic security systems.
In his free time, Lael was a member of the Founding Sons Motorcycle Club - Kentucky Longrifle Chapter, a group of Harley Davidson riding patriotic Americans with law enforcement and military backgrounds.
Lael is survived by his parents, wife, two children, and two grandchildren.
He will be missed by the ASIS community, and the ASIS Louisville Chapter in particular.
