ASIS International is deeply saddened to share the passing of ASIS member Keith Oringer on April 11, 2025. Keith has been a member of ASIS for more than 30 years, currently as part of the Northern New Jersey chapter, but also involved with the New York City chapter.

Keith began his career in the accounting sector, working as a CPA for KPMG before transitioning to the security field in 1991. He began his path in the security industry at Wells Fargo Guard Services before starting a position with U.S. Security Associates.

Keith worked at U.S. Security Associates for more than twenty years, helping the company expand to an eventual $1.2 billion in annual revenue. Keith left the organization at the position of President of the New York Metro and Aviation business units in order to found his own security consulting firm. Keith served as founder and president of Security ProAdvisors for a decade before his passing.

Keith will be missed by the entire ASIS community, and by those in the New Jersey and New York chapter in particular.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Keith’s memory may be made to https://www.ssbjcc.org/ or http://greaternewarktennis.org/.
