ASIS has accepted an invitation from Sheriff Paul H. Fitzgerald, Chair of the Emergency Services Sector Coordinating Council (ESSCC), to join the growing list of organizations that belong to the ESSCC. Established in July of 2004, the ESSCC is an independent, unfunded coalition of organizations that represent the emergency services sector. It represents emergency response and security elements primarily across State, local, tribal and territorial emergency responder communities. The mission of the ESSCC is to protect and promote the capability of the Emergency Services Sector to provide services to the public, the other sectors and the nation.

ASIS is proud to join this national outreach effort in support of the nation’s Emergency Services Sector. Read more about the value and importance of this sector and its role as the first line of defense in the prevention and mitigation of natural and manmade disasters.
