Across the ASIS International community, chapters are leading the charge in fostering strong public-private partnerships. With 24 April being annual P3 day, we wanted to celebrate some of the chapters building and strengthening public-private partnerships.

The Greater Atlanta Chapter sets the tone with its annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day (LEAD), where corporations sponsor awards and tables to recognize the contributions of law enforcement agencies across the region, fostering mutual respect and support. Additionally, they co-sponsor the Law Enforcement Private Sector Business Continuity Summit, which brings together key federal agencies and major corporations to discuss strategies for maintaining operations amid disruptions, thereby enhancing community resilience.

The Greater Kansas City Chapter strengthens relationships through events that support law enforcement career transitions, cross-sector networking, and training focused on private sector readiness.

The ASIS Long Island, NY Chapter is aligning its annual Person of the Year Dinner with P3 Day this year, where they will honor Nassau County Police Commissioner Patrick J. Ryder for his leadership and collaboration with the private sector.

The Greater Orlando Chapter actively participates in the Annual Criminal Justice & Public Service Conference at the University of Central Florida, further exemplifying their commitment to P3 initiatives.

These initiatives reflect the essence of P3 - agencies and private organizations working together to build safer, more resilient communities. By sharing best practices and successful models, we can inspire and support chapters worldwide to adopt and adapt these initiatives, thereby strengthening our collective security infrastructure and fostering a safer world for all.
